It is extremely rare in the furniture industry to find a brand new material being developed and put to good use. In conjunction with the chemical company BASF and a team of young designers from SCAD, Maria Yee has brought out a new range of furniture called Lux.

  • Material is a highly sustainable product made from 5 bast plant fibers (jute, hemp, sisal, flax and kenaf).

     

  • It is extremely durable, lightweight, resistant to mold and has low VOC.

     

  • We are very pleased to be one of the first retailers to showcase this new material.
