Doug’s Shockoe Bottom Loft

Shopping and I go together like fingernails and a chalkboard.   Finding the perfect condo was easy, but starting from scratch for everything from furniture, to rugs, to accessories and even dishes and towels was a bit overwhelming.  I once heard a quotation that went something like this:  ‘There are three responses to design – yes, no, and WOW”  My goal was to have the wow factor.  So I started (and finished) at LaDiff in Shockoe Bottom which was convenient but mostly because of their huge selection of contemporary furniture and accessories.  Friendly, personable, and knowledgeable salesman Bryan was beyond patient but also a good listener as what I was looking for and helping me find it. Did I ultimately achieve the ‘wow’ factor?  Based on family and friend’s reaction the answer is yes!
