SM33 Extension Table

Skovby is a 3 generation old family furniture business in Denmark that specializes in beautifully crafted – and extremely cleverly designed – dining furniture. Their tables invariably feature hidden extension mechanisms that are deceptively simple yet ingenious.

• The SM33 table when closed measures 48 ½” in diameter. Under the top there is a hidden mechanism that when rotated opens up the 3 leaves to expose central extensions that are attached and spring loaded. When fully open the table expands to 58 ¾ in diameter and seating capacity increases from 4 to 7 people (8 if you are friendly).
• Finishes for the SM33 include oiled walnut, oak, smoked oak, wenge, and mocha stain on oak. Also available in oak or walnut with white or black Nano HDL tops. Price will vary with finishes chosen.
